Leeds United have provided a significant update on the ongoing redevelopment of Elland Road ahead of Sunday's Premier League opener against Brentford. The club confirmed a series of completed changes that supporters will see when the Whites host their first top-flight fixture of the 2026/27 campaign.
Leeds currently sit 8th in the Premier League table with four points from their opening two matches, following a draw and a win. Their next challenge is an away trip to face Brighton on September 5th, a fixture detailed on our fixtures page.
A new building in the North East Corner now houses the club's Ticket Office and the LUTV studio. These operations were previously located in the West Stand opposite Howard's Bar. Within the existing West Stand structure, a new Presidents Lounge has been created. The club has also introduced a dedicated lounge for players' families, friends, and matchday guests.
The previous space used as a lounge for players and their families has been transformed into the new away dressing room. This represents a major upgrade, as the old away dressing room was situated in a temporary cabin outside the West Stand Banqueting Suite. Newly fitted dugouts for both the home and away teams are also now installed inside the stadium bowl.
The fit-out of the new hospitality facility behind the North Stand is now complete. However, the wider stadium redevelopment will continue throughout the entire 2026/27 season. Fullerton Car Park will not be in use this campaign as it serves as the primary forming site for the construction project. Leeds United said, "The redevelopment will continue throughout the season, with Leeds promising further updates as work progresses."
The team returns to action with a solid defensive record, having conceded just one goal in their first two league games. They are only two points behind early leaders Manchester City in the title race. Fans can track the evolving league picture on our standings page. Leeds United's next match is against Brighton, who are currently 9th in the table, on Friday, September 5th.
